Welp, turns out I was a tad optimistic on the comic schedule once again. The one page I was planning turned into three pages… plus I managed to catch a cold and I`m not in the sharpest shape at the moment. At least progress is happening.
I`ll try to get the updates done during next week.
Finally sketched out a layout for the next Trailblazers page that I was happy with. Trying to get it finished during the weekend.
Something a bit different. Im rekindling my old Warhammer hobby after a very long pause and started to assemble my Ogre Kingdoms army. Meet Dave the Ogre, the first figure I have painted in 3 or so years. He`s a bit rough, but I`m rusty as heck… The army color scheme will be pretty basic, earthy browns, dirty metal and blue tattoo details in places.
Might post some more pictures of these guys later on when I get a bit more finished. Got some plans to convert my own Maneaters, characters and some other stuff with a help of a friend who actually knows what he`s doing with these figures.
Got totally hooked on Battlestar - Galactica… Finally filling a big hole in my tv-shows to watch list. :P
Starburst and Tumbleweed.
Made a quick colored picture about the kids as my scanner borked out their coloring in the family pic. Starting to hate Orange tones though, I can never get the finish I`m going for with them…
Anyways, the purple streaks in Starbursts mane are more visible here as is the difference in their coat color.
So I got the sketch colored. Turned out mainly allright, though the scanner kinda lost some of the variance on the coloring of the children. I`ll draw a picture featuring them where the differences are clearer later on. I like how Goldie turned out in this, digging his older and a little rougher look.
Anyways, I decided on the names for the kids finally. The colt is called Tumbleweed and the filly is Starburst. Their cutie marks can still change a bit. Tumbleweeds mark is a stack of books, I think its not that clear on the picture. Also the scanning faded out the purple streaks on Starbursts mane, she takes after her grandparents a bit.
